Welcome to the 2019 Seeing Eye® Puppy Calendar Contest!

Click on the “Submit Photo” button and you can get started creating your puppy’s photo page!

  • FIRST - Identify your page with your personal information as well as your PUPPY name and your club name.
  • NEXT - Describe your photo in the space provided for a DESCRIPTION. Remember, our graduates vote in this contest too! The more detail about your picture, the better it will serve our graduate community! (Look at last year’s calendar for inspiration!)
  • LAST - Make sure your picture meets ALL the requirements, then upload it for review.

What comes next?

  • Your photo will be reviewed for both content and quality. You will receive notification if it is accepted or not.
  • Once accepted, make sure to tell your friends to get ready to VOTE (donate). Voting will begin on or around June 11, 2018. We will send out an email to all registered entrants when the voting begins.
  • Don’t delay! Deadline for submission is May 18, 2018, and we want to make sure you have opportunity to submit again if your first photo doesn't meet the contest rules.

CONTEST RULES

  • One photo per puppy raiser family
  • Digital .jpg format
  • At least 300 dpi and at least 4” high x 6” wide and at least 1200 pixels high x 1800 pixels wide
  • Landscape/horizontal only (no vertical photos will be accepted)
  • Seeing Eye vest/scarf on the pup(s) would be great and is highly encouraged, but not required
  • Photos must be crisp and clear (no blurry photos will be accepted)
  • No people in the photograph
  • No family pets. Only adorable “Seeing Eye puppy pictures” when your pup was in the program
  • No photos of dogs in harness
  • More than one Seeing Eye pup is acceptable (can be past or present pups, but only when they were in the program, i.e. sibling/group photos)
  • No collages!

Contest participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photo being entered in the contest. By submitting to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer to use the photo.
All photos submmitted become the property of The Seeing Eye to be used in future Seeing Eye publications.
